Dear Big Sisters of Greater Racine Friend,
Planning for our Fall Bourbon Tasting fundraiser is underway! The Big Sisters of Greater Racine (BSGR) uses the funds we raise to support individual and group experiences which foster the relationships between our Bigs and Littles.
This event is a large source of income for our small non-profit organization. With the support we received in 22/23 fiscal year, here are just a few things we were able to do to support our matches.
- Bus trip to Milwaukee museums
- Afternoon of pizza and bowling
- Summer choice of Root River kayaking, movie tickets, Zoo, miniature golf
- Late summer ice cream social
- Swan’s Pumpkin Farm visit
- Glass Ornament-making
- Social Skills and Self-Confidence workshop for the older Littles
- Easter Egg decorating
- “Get Messy with Science” experiments
